Shimon’s passion for design started at an early age, in the carpentry workshops of his father and grandfather. Following his studies in modern design at the Technion Institute in Israel, he emerged as a prominent head designer, designing thousands of kitchens across the country. In 2009, alongside Oranit, he founded and established Leicht USA, launching over 20 showrooms in three years. Serving as the official headquarters, Leicht South Coast Plaza opened its doors in 2017. Shimon’s contemporary design influence is felt across 50 national Leicht showrooms. Beyond his business achievements, he enjoys mentoring and nurturing the careers of hundreds of aspiring designers.

Oranit, co-founder of Leicht South Coast Plaza and Leicht USA,  studied Human Resources at the College of Management in Tel Aviv, quickly establishing herself as a formidable force in recruiting and leadership training as an HR team relation manager.  Together with Shimon, she initiated the foundation of Leicht USA, taking on roles in business finance, marketing, and HR, maintaining a strong focus on business growth. When she is away from the dynamic pace of the Leicht showroom, Oranit finds joy in her family life and the comfort of her home's kitchen. The inviting smells of her cooking and baking are a testament to her culinary talents and deep love for kitchens.

Senior Designer

As a proud Korean American, born in Germany, Claire’s designs mirror her unique background. Her distinctive style pushes the boundaries of conventional trends,  incorporating elements from various cultures. After completing a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, she went on to earn a master's degree in Interior Architecture from a collaborative program between UCLA and Cal Poly Pomona. With almost a decade of experience in kitchen, bath, and closet design, her projects show her talent for designing spaces that are aesthetically captivating and supremely functional, with an unwavering commitment to prioritizing the client's vision.

Senior Designer

Veronica, an interior design graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York, has over ten years of experience in the field. Her enthusiasm for design is deeply rooted in her extensive work as a high-end residential designer across New York and Connecticut and enriched by a touch of inspiration from her Brazilian heritage. Veronica is passionate about transforming spaces, skillfully combining creativity with meticulous attention to detail. Each project is a collaborative effort, leveraging her expertise to turn her clients' visions into breathtaking realities.

Associate Designer

Alison's initial attraction to the world of German design stems from her deep passion for creativity and design innovation. After earning her B.S. in Architectural Studies with honors from the University of Southern California School of Architecture, she became an esteemed associate designer with Leicht South Coast Plaza. Allison's love for design goes beyond her professional role; it is the way she interprets the world around her.

Project Coordinator

As our lead project coordinator, Cameron plays an integral role in our Leicht Architectural design projects. With over a decade of experience in construction in addition to a Business Degree and OSHA 30 certification, he can understand and coordinate all aspects of a kitchen design project, making sure our clients are satisfied every step of the way. He is deeply committed to quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Design Specialist

Kenny uses his impressive knowledge of construction and design to create masterful kitchen creations. His deep appreciation for German design precision and innovative and practical designs keep him at the forefront of premier design. Kenny earned his B.A. in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. After gaining valuable experience at esteemed design companies in New York, he relocated to California, where he became a part of the Leicht family.

Designer

Orkideh holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Iran, obtained in 2015. With a passion for interior design, she emphasizes creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, tailoring each project to meet her clients' unique needs and aspirations. After moving to the United States, Orkideh quickly joined Leicht family, where she continues to apply her expertise and creative insights to bring her clients' dream kitchen to life. She has meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of her designs.

Technical Designer and 3D Visualizer

Gilberto specializes in producing precise 3D renders of architectural kitchen design layouts.  His visualization tools enable clients to get an authentic experience of their envisioned kitchen spaces. Having collaborated with Leicht USA as a valued client during a residential project, Gilberto became an integral member of the Leicht team.
